LionHeart wrist lanyard? *Loa\'s POST FOUND* Pix

I'll be darned if I can find it with the picture. I've gone through every LionHeart thread I can find over the last few days. It showed a homemade lanyard affixed around one of the machined grooves on the body. Or I have I simply lost it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif ????

Can someone save my sanity and point me to it? Thanks!

Well it took me three days but I finally found the post:

Loalight's post

It was made by loalight in the LH will ship very slowly *sob* thread Charlie started. Dunno why I missed it as I think I'd opened that thread at least half a dozen times.

I'd wanted to see this post again to take a closer look at how he secured the lanyard around the battery tube.

I trust Loa doesn't mind my placing his post's pix here too.

yes Lionheart needs a clip or lanyard attachment point. I have no reliable way to hang lionheart from a neck lanyard.

there are lots of situations where you need a wrist lanyard.

Well in this thread Let's talk LH carry options.... Charlie mentions a pocket clip [ QUOTE ]

But I too would much prefer a wrist or neck lanyard. Loa's nifty threading into two of the machined grooves looks very secure. I'm going to try one of Grant's (tardis) QR lanyards first tied ala Loa and if that doesn't work take a queue from Loa and scavenge parts to glomm something effective together /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

glad people are looking at it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

also- this has proved to be as secure as I need. I actually redid it without the knot opposite the loop, just a dab of super-glue: voila, e-z breakaway lanyard. takes a stiff yank, wouldn't come off under normal use.

Thanks again Loa.... your dual track threading around the battery tube is what I wanted so badly to see again. It definately looks very secure and effective.

Best!
