I measured the Streamlight 3C LED light tonight while waiting for the computer to do other things...

It's about 130cd. I did the measurement at 2 feet, but the cd rating is corrected for that distance (foot candles * 4).

It is VERY wide.

I'll be getting a KL3 and running it on 9V so I'll post that when I get it.

Cheers,

Richard

Hi, Charlie!!!!!

Yes, I know, I was rendering two 760Meg audio files. Much better to render than to try and burn on the fly when you're doing fancy stuff like hiss reduction that's using 20-30% of the DSP capacity of the machine.

I only have a 333PII and a 450PII. I'm looking to get a 2.8GPIV but I also want a digital camera, and I'd settle for a Nikon D100 (a friend got one and loves it) 'cause I've got the lenses to go with it.

Anyway...for the people wondering, of course I used the Meterman LM631 light meter that you use.

I liked the way you've refined your integrating ceiling. Have you done a comparison between the IC and the Integrating Laundry Room? Having something capture the light output from the sides might be useful, too.

Cheers,

Richard
