I'm looking at some Maha batteries as replacements for the aging lithium ions in a digital camera, I can get reasonably good pricing on them. Specifically, I'm looking at their NB-1L battery for the Canon Digital IXUS/Powershot S100, because the existing battery in this one is something like 4-5 years old and gets five shots before quitting. Has anybody worked with these before?

From what I know of Maha, they do represent quality (love my C777Plus2) and that's why I'm looking at their stuff rather than at cheapo generic unbranded who-knows-whether-they-put-the-protection-circuit-in lithium ions. I need it to WORK, not to blow up in the hands of the person I'm trying to help /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
