I want to make a Mag mod with several Luxeons in serial connection. I have read about the heatsink on back of the Luxeons not beeing electrical insulated. How do you guys place the Lux's (emitter) on a heatsink, without making shortcuts. Relying on the thermic grease for insluation?

You will be safer with a non-conductive thermal adhesive (epoxy) such as Arctic Silver or Arctic Alumina.

Plus if you're goign with white/blue/green/cyan/royalblue colors then it's negatively tied to the star, and the flash light body is usualy negative, so you're ok even if it does conduct...

It's usualy the red/redorange/amber ones you have to watch out for as they are postive connected on the slug/star.
