Was going to be in Virginia Water but no more...

I can't do the 14-15th (Malvern Show).

I'm provisionally in, either date. Only live 10mins down the road :)

Should be fun walking around there, takes an hour or two if i remember, depending how fast you walk/often you stop. Lots of interesting things to shine torches at...

I might pop down to the pub to have a gander before time if i get a chance. Maybe i can take a snap of inside...

So far the meets have always been Saturdays. Are people happy with that or shall we try a Sunday ?

Saturdays are best for me - work and school, you know, the usual.

At least we won't get frozen doing group photos this time.

I'm keen, but can't fully commit at this time. So far either weekend is OK and I would prefer a Saturday.

I have now got a lux meter which I can bring along if anyone wants to compare spot brightness and also the 65W HID lumen canon (unfortunately everything now looks dim next to this).

A quick note on timing, sunset on 21 May is 20:54, meaning it will probably be around 21:30 before it is getting nice and dark. After a nice walk and plenty of torch shining I expect to get home pretty late, hence my preference for the Saturday.

I too would prefer Saturdays and will make space for both 14th and 21st May. I won’t miss being faulking cold this time.

Unfortunately I'm away on holiday on the 14th and don't return until the morning of 22nd. I can only make that Sunday and would fight the jet lag.

OK. It's looking like the 21st May then. Write the date in your diaries. Brunt sp is going to be missing out again but I don't feel too bad for him as he will be on holiday and I won't. Perhaps next time.
I hope people are sending notes to anyone else that may want to come.

I work on Saturdays so depending on what time I finish work
I'll try and make it.
Normally I finish around 5 - 6PM at Canning Town, East London so how long will
it take me to drive across London ?

BTW ... how about food ? will require industrial size portions please :D

Yep can do, bit nearer the time.

For the meet, Sundays are better for me but should be able to make saturday.

Is it worth mentioning this on BB forums as there seems to be quite a lot of crossover between the two?
