I didn't get all that much luck with my previous thread so maybe this one will get me further.

Apparently I need a good LSD Ni-Mh, C cell size for my new light since I don't want to have to stay on top of my batteries and constantly charge them.

So, can someone tell me what's good out there and maybe post some links?

I've been using the AccuPower LSD C's for a couple of months now. Seems to work pretty well and they are decently priced. There is a thread around here somewhere where they were reviewed for actual capacities, IIRC they were pretty close to the claimed 4500 mAh. Also their LSD property is apparently pretty decent, IIRC not quite as good as Eneloops (still no Eneloop C's outside of Japan tho), but better than the China-mfg. LSD cells. I have the link to the short review of them on my other computer, I'll send that tomorrow instead of bothering to search for it now. Perhaps others may have more experience & opinions, but my general impression from reading here is that they are pretty good cells.

I have also been pleased with the performance of Accupower LCD C batteries.
 
Well, so far the only ones I can find are 6000mAh ones and the link in the test didn't work.

I assume a Maha 808 or whatever is needed for these?

I also bought the Titanium Ultra Fast Smart Charger MD-3000 (the name's a bit over the top imho) to charge the LSD cells up. I'm interested to see if MattK's charger will perform well.
 
Please keep me posted. I'm interested as it's a more compact charger.
