Thanks for checking in. The Triple E project is not discontinued or abandoned. We have exactly as many parts ready to build out as we did on the day we shipped the previous batch - sitting in a cradle ready to go. I'm hoping to make the next batch even better and needed/need extra time to make it happen. Please stand bye...

Re: Moddoolar Triple Wasp Cooling Head and Glow System

speaking of keeping up on production, its been a while since the last batch launched. any update? also, i know V5 drop ins are on the agenda, not asking for a firm release time on those, but do you think before Christmas is possible or will it be more of a 2016 target?

  • I'm working on the (last) M2 mini turbo release, to be ready as soon as this weekend
  • Tom is working on more Wasp heads, to be ready as soon as next week

  • We are working to introduce v5 P60 before Halloween
  • Before that, we'll be reintroducing the (last) cu E2e, also in v5 form

A person does not have to use Nichia to get a pleasing tint on the V5 engine. The redomed XPL is nice.

A V5 P60 dropin might allow accurate comparison of the Wasp head heat shedding/efficiency gain. It is obvious that the Wasp head cools much faster than the standard P60 setup.

Wow - a P60 v5 drop-in. That sounds really cool.

I am definitely going to be in line waiting for a E2e v5 as well. Very cool!

I've been very pleased with my V1 copper E2e. Of course, use on high is limited because of the low thermal mass and resulting quick temperature rise. Are you thinking of an open-air head for the V5 E2e? Are we talking about a 30 watt E2e here? Thanks.
