Yeah I'm sure glad to have flashlights when the seasons change. Waking up in the dark is a lot more fun that way and so is coming home in the dark at the end of the day.

"The first available family of XHP LEDs is the XLamp® XHP50 LED, delivering up to 2250 lumens at 19 watts from a 5.0 x 5.0-mm package. At its maximum current, the XHP50 provides twice the light output of the industry's brightest single-die LED, the XLamp XM-L2 LED, at a similar lumens per watt and without increasing the package footprint. By leveraging Cree's latest reliability innovations, the XHP50 is designed to maintain L90 lifetimes above 50,000 hours even at high temperature and current."

no idea about voltage requirements etc... but sounds interesting...

sounds like mtg2 brightness in xml2 size footprint

Re: Cree SC5 technology :)

hopefully it doesnt have a stupid Vf like 10v or something
That would be a shame. I hope its 6V-12V like they mentioned up there. Vf 3V would be awesome in this LED, we'd have to look for more copper :p

Lets hope its BS. CREE wrote that its a single die, lets belive that :)

This looks interesting, it would be nice to know more details about the actual emitting surface and whether this is a single die or some kind or array. At least the package size will work well in many of the current flashlight designs. It would also be nice to know the forward voltage possibilities.

Re: The V54 Lounge.

Hey guys,
So I think I'm going to try to do some review videos of my new lights tonight.
Is there anything you guys would like to see?
Comparisons, beam shots, or anything else from any of the lights I have listed in my signature?
Thanks guys
Ty

Re: The V54 Lounge.

Ordered my son in law a SR52 PDTn--It came today--A freakin Fiat Lux--No way he's getting that light--He really liked mine anyway--HaHa
Vinh had stated even the non Fiat Lux version was very close--I can vouch for him there
