Okeydokey,

the Market Stores pub serves food of good looking quality from 12 to 10pm. We should book for lunch and then go down the caves - leave the evening session to chance?? or try somewhere else - Saturday night might be busy.

I am travelling down from London - giving a lift to anyone who needs one - PM me. (so far lightlover is hitching a lift).

Any particular time to book for lunch? One? Two? (Testing, testing!)

Who is coming?

The way I see it.

Any chance for an informal get together on May 22 or 23? I'll be in London.

Now that's a loaded question. I.might be prepared to give up Comic con for another CPF meet. Who else is up for it

I will be getting a lift with Lee for Sat 9th May.

I'd like to come along still.
I'll be free all day, so whatever's decided in terms of which tours we go on and where/when we have lunch and dinner is fine with me.

If parking in Reigate is likely to be an issue, I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a lift in. However I doubt it's practical for anyone to come past Farnham way.
I'm happy to drive to pick anyone up, if it's relatively on the way to Reigate.

I'm also free on the 22nd, if there's a get together.

If we work back from the time to go into the tunnels, and Remoteneeded said the last tour is at 16:00, when should we get there? But if we are going to see everything, maybe we need more time. I wondered if we went last thing, we might be allowed to have a 'lights off tour' if we are the only ones left, but we need remoteneeded to say if this is a possibility.

Maybe we should have sandwiches to keep us going before we meet, rather than a sit down meal (which remoteneeded can't come to), and meet at 14:00 or 15:00, then do all the tunnels we can take, and then find somewhere to eat, even early evening before most people are aiming for, where we can all be there? If we need to relocate to a pub slightly out of town, we could work that out at the time.

Yeah, lunch on the hoof is a good idea.

I'm leaving London at 10.30-11am with my passengers, so we'll be in Reigate from about 12ish. Bit of shopping or sightseeing then on to the Tunnel Road West caves.

I think it might be wise to meet up at the entrance to the Tunnel Road West at about 1.30-2pm and do that tour first (hopefully with remoteneeded doing the tour) this will take app 45 mins. Then maybe go to Tunnel Road East for the non guided Museum bit, but making sure we leave in good time to get to Baron's Cave for one of the last tours (Last tour is at 4pm!) Then off to the Market Stores Pub to wait until remoteneeded is free to join us for Supper - at maybe 5.30-6pm.

Then it's torches and chat until we're bored or passed out.

Groovy!

I might try the Council run car parks - as a Central London resident, those parking fees feel like getting it for free anyway! (£5.50 for 5-10 hrs. That much buys you an hour if you're lucky around here!!!)

I have made a final purchase. Hopefully it will arrive in time for the meet up.

Less than a week to go.

BTW - Nearby Reigate Priory Park nearby looks like a good, open all hours place where we can test out our throwers. It's very nearby. Lots of open spaces, woods and also ornamental gardens. I see a photo pop coning on. Light writing for 2015!

Did I mention it's nearby?

(I'm assuming it's open all hours - the Council opening times say 01/01/15 - 31/12/15 !!!!)

One thing's for sure - we won't be back home early next Saturday! lovecpf

I'm up for Friday or Saturday night. I missed the only CPF because i literally couldn't walk. That was the one where you turned up. I understand you're a big Surefire fan :)

How do you mean? I don't think anything's changed.
I'll be driving myself to Reigate at around lunchtime I suppose. Drive around hoping for a free space, but if not, it's not a big deal. I've spent too long in London and think about parking the same way as Nyctophiliac.
