    your experiences for ThruNite

The TN36 is an interesting and high powered flashlight, but the only reason I have not ordered one was because of what I read in the review by Selfbuilt. He mentions that within two minutes it becomes very hot. too hot to hold onto. I also noticed that another light- the Niwalker Minimax Nova...

    your experiences for ThruNite

Received a Thrunite TN4A 3 days ago. Great light and a good price. Previous Thrunite lights include the Catapult V2, and the TN32. All lights perform exactly as expected. Thank You Thrunite.

Here's what I'd like to find...

I just ordered (but has not yet arrived) the Thrunite TN32. It is a great hand held thrower, and has an output of 1700 lumens, but it may exceed your throw requirements. If you want more spill and lumens, look at the Thrunite TN35. It uses the MT-G2 emitter and supplies 2750 lumens with more...

    Which MT-G2 Light and Why

I have used my SX25L3 for almost a year and the head position switch is still working perfectly. Have not cleaned the threads at all.

    Eagletac MX25L3 vs SX25L3 comparison

I agree with Mr Tone, and if you have any more great beamshots of your other lights, please post these as well.

The search for a new thrower

Glad to hear that you are pleased with the TN32. But if you would still like to replace the Dereelight with a similar sized light, go to the Eagletac website and look at the S200C2. The XM-L2 U2 is rated at 1116 lumens with a lux of 36,300. The warmer tint of the XM-L2 T6 has a little less lumen...

    Eagletac MX25L3 vs SX25L3 comparison

Thanks for the photos. I also purchased the SX25L3 several months ago, and it is a favourite. I do like the additional throw of the MX25L3, and will probably add it to my collection. If you have a chance to do any outdoor shots, please post these as well.

    Dereelight C2H question

You may have good reason to be worried. I live in Canada, and when I paid for fast shipping, my items arrived in about 5 days. Since you are in England, I would have expected your light to arrive by now.

Thrower for under $100, 50-200 yards

I have the Dereelight DBS XM-L with smooth reflector, and I would recommend this light. It is not as dedicated a thrower as some lights, but does provide the 50- 200 yards of throw that you require as well as a lot of spill light. A good all purpose light.

    Dedicated throwers

I had a similar situation with Dereelight. They e mailed me that my order could not be completed without my telephone number, even though it is included in my PayPal account. I did send them a reply with my number and that was all I needed to do for priority shipping.

    Most floody possible

Dereelight makes a light with no hotspot at all. The CL1H-T-NOHS. Has a special reflector and lense for a uniform beam pattern. Costs about $65 from the Dereelight website. Hope that gives you another choice to consider. Good luck with your search.

    Compact 3 XM-L Powerhouse

I've been waiting for Zebralight to come out with the S6330. A 3 XM-L light with a maximum output of 2400 lumens, and it is only 4 inches long with a bezel diam. of 2.25 inches. This light is still in the preliminary stages, and is due out sometime in 2012. Unfortunately, I will have to keep...

    Freeing Up Your Hands

Glad that you liked the collar /shirt idea. It may not be working well with your T shirt because I used a smaller light than you have in your picture. I used the Sunwayman V1OR, using a single RCR123 cell. It has a two way clip and is more of an EDC light. I also have the clip so it is pointing...

    Freeing Up Your Hands

I used to clip a flashlight on the collar of my T shirt. But I placed it at the shoulder area, under my ear. Also required a light with a reversible clip. It worked OK. Getting the light to point exactly where I wanted it wasn't always easy. Since I purchased a Zebralight with the angled head, I...
