    Wow. I haven't been back here in a long time, but I felt I ought to chime in saying that I've been doing this challenge for the last ~4 years EDCing a Ra Clicky 140E. I have other lights (a Nitecore D10 R2 and an upgraded Surefire C2), but I almost never need to use them.

    I keep it loose in my front left pocket with some paracord for grip. However, I had to make a pouch for my phone out of denim and paracord to keep the light from chewing it up! :shrug:

    Strobe

    I can't stand disco modes being in the open. I'm sure they have their uses, but I prefer either a plain LMH setup, or a *very* well hidden strobe/SOS (like the Ra/HDS Clicky).

    Yup, same here. I just felt that the amount of force required to tighten the bezel down didn't exactly inspire confidence in the light's waterproofness. Thanks for the info!

    I just bought the Solarforce 5-mode XM-L dropin for my closeout C2 for just shy of $20. It'll be here tomorrow, and then I'll let you know! I was given a lot of great advice in my thread, if you look a few pages down. I think it's titled "Surefire C2 Upgrades?" or something like that.

    I've been continuously EDCing my Clicky since I got it early last year, and apart from some minor anno wear and an orange paracord turk's head that's seen better days, I don't have much to post either. I suppose there's a little scuffing on the SS bezel too, does that count? :nana:

    Thanks, but I already placed the order for the Solarforce 5-mode as a stopgap until the 90CRI XM-L EasyWhites become available. I also got an SS Bezel ring, and the tool to change bezels. I might get a McClicky and a UCL later. The LOTC is actually starting to grow on me.

    In the meantime, I just thoroughly degreased and lubed the C2 with Nyogel. It's buttery-smooth now! :)
