Is there a regular NI D10 with a XP-E(and beamshots)?

That's a real shame then. I have no clue why they messed up the almost perfect UI on the D10, but I don't complain as long as they keep the old desing as well, as they did now. But they really should offer the old with XP-E as well, cause I really really want one...

Is there a regular NI D10 with a XP-E(and beamshots)?

I've been looking around now for a while for a light, and the D10 seems like a really good candidate. I saw that they just released a SP edition with XP-E leds, which I would imagine would give better throw in such a small reflector. But I can't stand the new UI. I can't find any, but are there...

Any News on the Fenix Headlamp(s)

Is there still no news about the Fenix Headlamp? I've been away for a while and I was in the works then IIRC.

NiteCore Defender Infinity: shipping vs pre-production (Olight T15 Q5 added)

Nitecore decided to measure the actual output instead of using emitter output estimates, and they also corrected the numbers in the initial thread. Think you can read it in the market place.

    G2 Quit Working

I got one of those, but it's not terribly bright on a 17650. In the reviews it's stated that it's not much brighter on 2XRCR123, but can anyone confirm that's true? Since the voltage input is so wide, shouldnt the light be a lot brighter with more voltage? Or is there a circuit that regulates...

    I need a camping/general purpose flashlight

+1 on the L2D for a handheld light, it's really hard to beat. And the different modes don't get in the way cause of the brilliant UI, you can use it as a simple twostage (or even onestage) light, just twist the head for low and turbo. But you should really consider a headlamp, and my vote there...

    Aurora WF-600 Q5 2-mode 18650 back in stock

I had just ordered a WF-600 when I saw that the Aurora Q5 was available again. But after looking into to it further(I was thinking about switching the order to the Aurora) I'm not sure they are the exact same lights. The WF-600 has gotten great reviews as a thrower, and the only reason that I...

    Any point upgrading a DX WF-600 Q2 thrower to a Q5?

Thanks for the "support". :) I decided that I'll stick with the Q2. The output difference can't be that great, and even though the Aurora has HAIII and metal reflector, I'm not sure about it's performance and beam qualities, there are no reviews up yet, but plenty on the old WF-600.

    Any point upgrading a DX WF-600 Q2 thrower to a Q5?

Thanks for the answere. Didn't know about the added advantage of HAIII and aluminium reflector that the Aurora had. Might go for one then. Allthough I just saw, by going by the beamshot of the Aurora on DX, the spot seems to be a lot wider than that of the WF-600, which I wouldnt prefer on a...

    Any point upgrading a DX WF-600 Q2 thrower to a Q5?

After much thought and research I came to the conclusion that the WF-600 was the best thrower I could get on a limited budget, so I ordered one yesterday with some christmas money. But now I just saw that the Q5 version for 10 bucks more is available again after it has been on backorder for...

Which LED drop in for SureFire Z2?

You could also have in mind that there are some dropins with multiple modes, lower light output modes for longer runtime, and high output modes when you really need the light. This could be a way to go if you don't mind the multimode UI(some people find it annoying to click through different modes).

NiteCore Defender Infinity - First Impressions thread

Yes, I'm simply wondering how you open the tailcap. I noticed two small holes, but don't have any suitable tools. I tried two small screwdrivers, but the brassy ring doesnt seem to budge(a bit difficult though since it's two separate instruments, gonna try to use a fork as you mentioned) and I...
