    550 lumens at 3 amps ? Damn. Yeah, they aren't the best emitters for overdriving. If you're down for an experiment to see what you can get it to do, go for it. For practicality, there are much better options. I use the Nichia in mid output worklights where I want a good CRI. WYSIWYG.
