    M20 Ti - Change reflector?!

Sounds like you got the solution. Mine turns easily, and my retaining ring is not loose, so this must be the issue.

    HELP: looking for 4000 lumens

What you need is throw, not necessarliy lumens - some HIDs might do it, not really sure what wattage and reflector is necessary to be visible at 10 miles, that's a question for the HID and incan forum. What I would wonder, though, is a whether good strong laser would be visible, if you can aim...

    HELP: looking for 4000 lumens

:ohgeez::ohgeez::ohgeez: Try the HID section please. :welcome: But forget about the strobe, not happening with a HID.

    HELP: looking for 4000 lumens

Um.....ok now you edited your post to state 4000 lumens instead of 2000. The SR90 (2200 lumens) was the only light previously mentioned that had a strobe mode. I think the only way you would get a 4000 Lumen LED beast with strobe would be to commision one from one of the expert...

    HELP: looking for 4000 lumens

Re: HELP: looking for 2000 lumens Well, since you posted this in the LED section, I'm assuming you want an LED light that puts out 2000 lumens - a pretty rare beast as far as production lights go. If you're talking HID there are several choices, but I am going to assume you nare asking about...

    Quark Question???

I don't see why not - at the moment the only R5 heads I have are titanium but they work on my R2 Quark bodies.

What is actual OTF lumens for MG PLI?

I don't have any way to do an actual lumens measurement (few do) but I do have a light meter, and a small room with a white ceiling that allows at least relative comparisons to other lights that I have. Here is the results of a set of measurements I made one day with the lights I had lying...

1000+ Lumen. Ok quality. Ok battery life. Not too expensive. Advice please!

The lumens rating of 630 for the TK40 is OTF lumens, not emitter lumens. It's plenty bright; to get significantly brighter you need to spend a good deal more money.

Newbie looking to do first ROP with Cammed reflector

I have a spare KD MOP cammed reflector I will sell you for $15 shipped CONUS. I could help out with a pack of bulbs too, Hi and Lo for $8, I have a bunch of spare packs. Your other parts look right, I am partial to the FM 6AA-2D adapter myself, but the Sandwoch Shoppe is good too. PM me if...

TK-40 Still the brightest aa torch?

My MAG85 is brighter with 9 AAs. Heck, my ROP is brighter with 6 AAs. A lot. Runtime? not so much. But I believe the TK40 it still the brightest production light run on AAs, and still one of my favorites.

What Information is officially "Known" About the Maelstrom

Another look: No specs yet, I would imagine that comes tomorrow. Only info gleaned - S1800 can take 6xcr123. S1200 uses only LiFePO4. I think the numbers in the name refer to OTF lumens for each light, not positive.

DEFT vs. Tiablo A9 Aspheric and Dereelight DBS Aspheric

I have the DBS aspheric and the DEFT w/pre-collimator, and a Tiablo A10 The A10 does a very respectable job at throw, but the DBS beats it easily. The DEFT beats the DBS again quite easily, although you might need binoculars to see details of what it can illuminate at that distance. I had...

Anyone besides Quark have a MCE-RGB light?

I leave my Quark RGB set up as follows: Head Tight: Neutral White Turbo Head Loose: Red Low When I click the button, I know exactly what I'm going to get. If I change the mode while using it, I just make sure to turn it off in the mode I will want to turn it on in. Since it has memory for...
