One of the greatest invention in flashlight history IMHO is + and - buttons in MH27.

Thanks for replies. No need to argue every little things. It´s now clear that +- buttons are not as famous as i except and hoped for. In flashlight industry when one manufacturer brings something new it is often copied by dozen of manufacturers. MH27 has been on market under two years and is...

One of the greatest invention in flashlight history IMHO is + and - buttons in MH27.

MH27`s UI is superb! Almost every flashlight manufacturer has models with side button. There maybe shortcuts to lowest and max modes, but generally you have cycle through modes like 1-2-3-4-1-2.. I really dislike them because you can´t go previous mode without cycle through whole set. Just...

Anyone know of a body that a Fenix E05 85 lumen head will fit on?

It is older but not many years older. Maybe 1-2 years older. 27 lumen version.

Anyone know of a body that a Fenix E05 85 lumen head will fit on?

If this helps, you can use three-mode (85 lumens) head with one-mode body. Three-mode and one-mode versions of E05 will crossfit, but one-mode head do not work in three-mode body, BUT it will work otherwise. I started to carry three-mode head with one-mode body because it has much better...

Eagletac now with XHP35 HD, XHP35 HI, and Nichia 219 C hi CRI

I am Eagletac user from 2012 and i´m glad they didn´t reject twisty interface. This new two button UI is as worse as many other manufacturer´s "cycle through modes to get what you want" -method. With the twisty you can get directly what you want and stay it. Try use second brightest level with...

    SPORTAC® P60 drop-ins ©2014 Eagtac™ LLC

Anyone Sportac user found that drop-in has undocumented low battery voltage warning just like some Eagletac models? "When 18650 li-ion battery falls below 2.9V, the LED will flash once every 30 seconds to remind you that the battery is almost out". My newly arrived 3 x Nichia unit has it and...

    Thank you. Still wonder what´s going on with 18650. One from German forum reported following amp draws: 1x 18650 ---- 2.75 A 2x 16340 ---- 1.5 A 2x CR123A ---- 2.5 A

Could someone else with Sportac´s measure their current draw? I have dual output XM-L2 nw and get 2.65A with 2xCR123´s and 1.95A with 18650 (Eagletac 3400mAh). Solarforce L2P host with fitting ring. Measures taken after 30 sec from start. Shouldn't 2xCR123 have lower amp draw? Same results (but...

Poll: Battery used in your Quark Turbo X 123²

I have TurboX both cool white and neutral white, Quark 123X2 (XM-L) and The Lightbox and i have following results: Lumens are based on this review and results of my Q123X2 with my lightbox so they are just estimated but anyway. TurboX CW with 17670 starts at 504 lumens and within 15 min drops...

    AW'flat top 18650 compatibility

But they do work in Eagletac M2-series, because cells are loaded in battery carrier.

Does the SureFire LX2 work with the following recharbables?

I have used over a month 2 x AW RCR123 3.7v cells. Light works and both levels are equal as using primaries. So my guess is buck circuit can handle extra voltage. If it can`t then there would be higher high and higher low. See example for E2L http://light-reviews.com/surefire_e2l/ Doesn´t...
