    UltraFire Cree C2

I got mine today. As ernsanada's PICs show this is a very handsome light. The fit and finish is nice but of course it is not HAIII. It works great with one of AW's older protected 17/670 cells. No magnets required. Overall output (using very primitive ceiling bounce test) is more than my Fenix...

d-mini arrived today updated with pic's and a review

LightScene, ...Rechargeables is exactly what I was talking about and I said that in my post. The amount of decrease in output during the 30 minutes the rechargeable cell runs in the D-Mini would not be enough to discern with the human eye. JC

d-mini arrived today updated with pic's and a review

Mine came today. Silver finish, smooth reflector. This thing IS the throw monster everyone says it is. In white wall tests it beats a Surefire G2 with a whiter and much brighter hotspot and brighter though smaller spill beam. Ceiling bounce test, which is a crude method of comparing overall...

    New Torch (1st edition ?) - AmiLite Neo T5 SSC P4 U

...I have had my Neo T3 for about a year. It is an excellent light. The beam is a good balance between spill and throw and is as artifact free as any light around. It will be interesting to see how the Neo T5 does in comparison. 2 stage clicky tailcaps are nice but in the case of this light it...

    My first big one.

Spanish, ....I used to see lights like that back in the early 80s in open air market hardware "stores" in Korea. I am not sure if they were the real deal from Japan or if they were knockoffs of them. JC

DealExtreme U2 "fake" review (Lux version)

Tenfour, ..Thanks for an excellent objective review. Many of us were unaware that there were knockoffs that actually went as far as copying the Surefire trademark. You have provided a valuable service educating us on this subject. JC

My Fenix L1D-CE is TOO BIG!!! Suggest me a new EDC please.

My LOD-CE is amazingly easy to use one handed. Left or right hand it works easy. JC

    L1D-CE OR LOD-CE

To me the L1D-CE is way too big for pocket carry so the L0D-CE is the way to go. JC

    Batteries for Wolf-Eyes Incans

...Two of AW's new protected 18500 cells in a Raider body with the Lumens Factory EO-9 lamp assembly works great for me. I have an H0-9 on order to go in my Sniper with two of AW's new protected 123 cells. JC

    Fenix LOD CE

JayR, ....My L1P worked fine with the Nekomane body and a 123 primary cell. When Nekomane was first making these there was a lot of discussion about whether a 123 would smoke the l1P head. I do think a few people did have problems with them but mine worked fine. When the L2T came out I put that...

    Fenix LOD CE

..I have found my new favorite Fenix light! I own 8 different Fenix lights (L1P, L1P with Nekomane 123 body, P1, LOP, L1T, P1D-CE, L1D-CE and L0D-CE). These are all nice lights. The P1 was my favorite and I used one as my EDC for 7 months with zero problems. The P1 with a lithium ion...

Please help me ID an Army-issue Strobe Light from 1980s

Re: Please help me ID an Amy-issue Strobe Light from 1980s ...I have an old SDU-5/E around here somewhere. I could not find it looking today and I am sure the battery must be long dead. I think they were first purchased by the Army sometime during the 70s and were still issued with the aviation...
