    The XR-E beams are my favorite. Just picture the beam from a OP Romisen or a cheap OP DX drop in. No rings, just a fuzzy spot with good side spill.

    I carry a flashlight when I need one. No EDCing a light for me. I do however carry a knife almost everywhere I go. I generally don't leave home with out my Benchmade PIKA II.

    I think that may be the problem too, mine came loosened. Just look into the bezel when it is removed and notice the two notches on the inner ring, just use some needle nose or forceps and tighten that.
