    HDS Systems EDC # 18

I am waiting for the titanium run and no doubt, it will be a pricey proposition. Been wanting a titanium for my collection.

    HDS Systems EDC # 18

These Cerakoted beauties are amazing! Me being the curious type, I poked around on Thor's site and stumbled onto a 170 neutral orange Rotary. Let's see how long that one lasts......

If it is a Rotary, then yes.

When did you order your HDS?

Received my warranty replacement today! Ordered on 2/10/2012 and was a replacement for an original EDC Ultimate XR. Rotary Hi CRI with Sapphire lens, black bezel and flush tail switch. Gorgeous light and well worth the wait!

    HDS Systems EDC # 16

Finally getting a chance to follow up on my post yesterday afteroon. My dad checked the light over and sent me some photos and it is indeed the Rotary we ordered. Turns out that this unit is a 200 lumen model and NOT a high CRI; the High CRI was ordered on the other unit at a later date. I...

    HDS Systems EDC # 16

Don't want to get anyone's hopes up yet, but I think my Rotary High CRI has been received. Long story, but will try to make it short. It is a Christmas present from my folks and I just got an email from my dad a while ago, saying that a small box arrived today via USPS Priority Mail from HDS...

R.I.P Nitecore D10 - Wrong polarities fried the circuit

Sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel and you certainly have my sympathy. I had a Nitecore EX10 with a trit piston and that light was my EDC for a couple of years. During a business trip last year, the light was stolen from my hotel room and I was really bummed. There was...

Visiting Houston TX and the Gulf Coast - Any advice?

Welcome to the Lonestar State! A visit here will not be complete without sampling some legendary Texas music and one of our favorite local Blues artists is Hamilton Loomis. He puts on an incredible show and he happens to be performing in our local area next weekend. He will be performing at...

    Honda S2000--anyone own one?

I own a 2003 S2K. The car is an absolute blast to drive and own. Has the typical Honda reliability. Mileage is 23 to 24 all around. You can easily get 30 mpg at highway speeds if you keep the top up. Of course that is not much fun, so I always drive with the top down and get a bit less...

    Ever Seen The Space Station?

Seen it many times, but I could never get tired of it. For another great site with details on when the ISS will pass by your area go to: Hevens Above Website This site also will tell you when Iridium Flares can be seen from your area. Those are pretty spectacular because they are sometimes...

why don't headlamps come on low with the 1st click

Re: why don\'t headlamps come on low with the 1st click I agree. I was in New Mexico on a cross country snow shoe hike last week and used my PT EOS. With the snow on the ground being so reflective, the dimmest brightness setting was great. We did part of the hike with no lights on since we...

Glad you made some progress with those id3 tags. I am sorry that I did not mention that you can do multi-file id3 tag edits with iTunes. For lots of info on your new iPod, check out the iPod Lounge at: iPod Lounge Probably the best online iPod community.

    Ipod help needed

Turbodog, first of all, congrats on your new toy and welcome to the club! The iPod (and iTunes) is driven by its own internal database, which is in turn populated via the id3 tags. If you use iTunes to load your iPod, you can also use iTunes to clean up those tags. Just import your music into...

We found THE house! CRASH! BURN!

Re: We found THE house! PB Joe, The area you describe should be fairly dark with considerably lower light pollution levels than the city. It is not too terribly far from my astronomy club's dark sky viewing site. Should be a great place to test out those flashlights. Sounds like a very nice...

Re: Lunar eclipse tonight Finally got to wade through the pics that I took and got one posted: 2004 Eclipse It was a great eclipse with fantastic weather. I figured we were owed one because the previous two lunar eclipses were pretty much clouded out!
