What did you use your flashlight for today?

Our three legged cat (we have five cats) hadn't been seen all afternoon, so this evening we headed out and searched for him in nearby fields. No lights around other than the stars and my wife's Nitecore SENS CR123 and my Zebralight SC600. The SC600 caught a reflected glimpse of cat eyes 50...

    Zebralight SC600 & SC600W discussion part 2

I'm thrilled with mine. The tint is annoyingly green and the mode selector a little confusing at times however the output on low and high is astonishing. An excellent light for my day bag.. Highly recommended :-) Sent from my mobile using TapaTalk (so please excuse bad grammar & spelling!) :-)

Some quick mAH for SC600 advice please

I've been using SC600+AW3100+4sevens charger for a week and it's fine so far :-) Sent from my mobile using TapaTalk (so please excuse bad grammar & spelling!) :-)

    ZebraLight SC600

A few days in I can say; Wow. It's green. Very green - and astonishingly bright and small. For some reason the reviews to me made the light appear bigger than it does in real life, it's currently hanging off my keys (temporarily while I test it). The green tint is only apparent indoors and...

    ZebraLight SC600

I fit an AW protected 3100 inside mine, no problems. Perfect fit. Sent from my mobile using TapaTalk (so please excuse bad grammar & spelling!) :-)

Re: Zebralight SC600 (1x18650, XM-L) Review: RUNTIME, BEAMSHOTS, comparisons & more! My SC600 (standard) is being posted tomorrow :-) Yay. Hopefully it will be a good upgrade from a NiteCore EZAA R5.

    Looking for a 18650 charger

I have the 4sevens charger, and as a newbie, it appears to tick the right boxes. 3.6&4.2v charging modes at 0.5&1A. Charges through USB too - versatile and compact.

Advice please for a newbie (re: flashlight choices & moving to Lithium)

@billyel: That's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks :) It's good to know that the temperature range that lithium cells can work in can be pretty low. @bullinachinashop: Thanks for the heads up, I saw the Spark 800CW but it's a bit too large for my "in the bag" EDC. @vegasmarine: I agree...

    DID SOMEBODY SAY POWERFUL ??

Its real but also completely pointless. It seems to give off most of its energy as heat and can be used to fry eggs ... :/ a little cool but also pointless and not what you'd want in a hand held flashlight! Sent from my mobile using TapaTalk (so please excuse bad grammar & spelling!) :-)

    ZebraLight SC600

The SC600 appears to still be out of stock at all the usual suppliers. Does anyone know if this is due to a problem with a batch, a recall, a limited run or simply massive popularity? Sent from my mobile using TapaTalk (so please excuse bad grammar & spelling!) :-)

    ZebraLight SC600

One more thing: Since a lot of people have criticised the ZL SC600 for the lack of throw, I wonder if it's possible to produce or purchase an adapter that can sit on the head of the torch when needed to convert some of the peripheral flood to throw by focusing the beam. Does anything like this...

    ZebraLight SC600

I'd quite like to know this too.. Can the step down be relied upon as the basis for a 'time to charge me' reminder? Sent from my mobile using TapaTalk (so please excuse bad grammar & spelling!) :-)

iTP A3 EOS - Your long term good/bad experience

My wife had an iTP EOS A3 for over a year. Loved it - it survived over a year on her car keychain until one day the emitted stopped working. I tried the head on my Maratac AAA body (it's pretty much the same light but with three modes) and it didn't work. She's now got the Maratac AAA, but I'd...

Advice please for a newbie (re: flashlight choices & moving to Lithium)

Thanks. I'm coming at this from the other direction - I was originally taken with the ThruNite TN12 as the form factor is perfect for me. However the SC600 seems to do better with both power (you don't need to put your hands on the hot bit) and battery life. The dealbreaker for me was that the...

Jetbeam PA10, the ultimate successor to the Quark AA w/14500 cell?

Thanks Autotech, Yup, the lack of usable lower modes scuppers this particular light for me - a real shame since it was comparing favourably against the SC600, but the hi on lithium simply doesn't run for long enough given that it's the only game in town... Mike Sent from my mobile using...
