Destructive Incan Bulb Tests - Updated 8/27/2010 (Newer Info Added)

I am indeed jabe1! Brunswick to be exact... Not a lot of collectors in the area that I know of. The last light meetup that I attended was in Columbus some years ago. Though I wouldn't mind coordinating something once Covid19 restrictions are lifted.

Destructive Incan Bulb Tests - Updated 8/27/2010 (Newer Info Added)

Both Pelican bulbs (Hi and Low) will run off of two 21700's an not flash. Recently I upgraded a custom Mag 3c ROP host from two 18650's to 21700's with no ill effect. I'm not sure of the exact rated voltage is for the 3854's, but my guess is that they are rated at just over 6v (maybe somewhere...

    [review] FiTorch P26R 1 * 26650 3600lm XHP70.2

This looks like a cool light! I hope the neutral led version would be produced as an option, love the color of the led. Nice review!

    Ryobi 35W, 18V HID

The one that I purchased has a brown ceramic return wire cover, the previous model had a blue one. If you find it with a brown one you should have the latest model. For the money its a hell of a deal.

    Ryobi 35W, 18V HID

Just picked one up last week and noticed they updated it with a 4300K bulb... Color temp is just right if you were wanting one with a more neutral tint.

POLL ADDED: Do you prefer Warm or Neutral White?

Definitely love the neutral tints with high CRI... The closest something can mimic sunlight (ie. 4500-5500K and 90+ CRI) the better. Not really into colder color temps of 6000K+, though I have a handful of lights in that range.

Nitecore EC4SW measurements (2x18650, neutral white)

Great review! Just ordered one of these a week ago and was wondering how the color temperature would fair against some of the other neutral tinted lights I own. The spectral graphs are definitely a nice touch :)

I like it... Given that you can dial in the light you need at the level you want, its a great solution. To top it off, over 500 lumens is pretty sweet imho :grin2: cheers
