AA powered lights with a side switch - what are the options

The Proton Pro is worth investigating. A single AA light, side switch, with variable output. Has a secondary red light to preserve night vision. Regards. Neil obriencr

Best single-AA lights.... your nominations please

    ITP C9 owners speak up

I have an ITP C7. I like it, but I wish the low level was even lower. I love the variable brightness lights - but I want the full range, down to a very very low low. For me, pocket carry is an AAA light. Fenix LOD, LDO, or something similar.

    What is your 1xAA choice?

In my order of personal preference - the Photon Proton Pro, Nitecore D10, and Fenix L1D. Each has its own charm. On balance for me the Photon Proton Pro has the most versatility.

You should investigate the single AA - Photon Proton Pro (side switch) and Nitecore D10 (tail switch). Two small ramping lights.

    red light special

You may want to investigate the Photon Proton Pro (AA) and the Pak-Lite Pilot (9v). I personally prefer the Photon Proton Pro over the Pak-Lite.
