    I too, won't buy cool white tints. I see several triple XML lights and really liked the Fenix triple but will not buy them until they become available in neutral to warm tints.

    How many use SOS and Strobe functions?

    Like a lot of other things I have, I may never use them, but I take comfort in knowing should I NEED them, they are there. SOS, strobe and beacon mode I think are good "hidden" features.

    Thanks asot! Mine is only pulling 2.78A on Turbo from a 4.22V(open) cell so watt wise both are a hair over 11W. I guess that is right for that light.

    Do you carry a flashlight during the day?

    Yes, I carry a light or two during the day. Usually my neutral tint Quark CR2 and recently my high CRI Preon2. Before that was a neutral white Quark Tactical with a AA body and 14500. I never know when I have to look into a dark computer case or find myself in a dark condemned house for work.

    Thanks calipsoii, I did miss that post. Mixed feelings on that step down bug anyway. Would be nice to just have the max as I'd be more inclined to use the lower 200ish lumen setting instead of the 430 lumen one, but oh well, I waited this long I can wait longer. :D

    OP VS SMO , which do you like better?

    I personally like an OP reflector. They smooth out the beam a bit and offer a slightly diffused hot spot.
