    My first was a G2....then I bought a G2 as a gift....then I got an E2w (E2e), and I'll probably get a G3 next - that's pretty consistent with the above mentioned lights.

    In terms of flashlights, this thread has prompted me to take the leap and buy that P1D-CE that everyone's been talking about for the wife to have on her keychain! She's a student, and has a couple classes that let out after dark. The walk to her car is (relatively) safe, as far as campuses go...

    Not sure...something LED, though. Maybe a Lumapower D1-mini...maybe a SL TL-3 or an Inova T5. Who knows! To be perfectly honest, it'll probably be batteries!

    I was just turned on to this light by fellow CPFers in the LED section, and I have 1 question - is the light only available in black now, or is there an option to order it in the polished look like in the pics on page 1?

    I can't make up my mind!

    Yeah...I've seen that guy before at Costco. I was always curious about it's beam, but was skeptical (it's Costco afterall, right?). Maybe I'll pick one up for fun in the backyard. In an ideal world, I'd love to be able to pull something out of my pocket about the size of an average EDC light...

    Nice... The Cree modded light in that thread that runs off a single AA would be nice, but I know there's no way I could do the mod myself. Just don't have the tools (or the know-how!)... Maybe I'll be able to buy something similar at some point relatively soon. Until then, any thoughts on...

    Well...I just got back in town from our holiday excursion, and I realized that somewhere along the way (probably in my carry-on), the lens on my G2 was scratched. It's really only noticeable if I'm pointing it at a perfectly flat, even-colored surface (i.e., a wall) at semi-close range...
