Me and my youngest son have been going out to our hunting property and trying to get some food plots in but it's been pretty hot out lately so we are slowing down some.
I have an older 6px defender that is a single stage and it doesn't have any letters on the bezel but I think it's the 200 lumen.
I just got the g2x pro and the package says 600 lumens but it's not any brighter than the LE model. It has a D on the bezel but no serial number. The reflectors are...
Was finally able to get 10 more garden beds out. These will mostly be green beans, carrots, tomatoes, beets and a variety of other vegetables. We have 10 more on the other side of the yard and we usually can enough food for the next year.

Re: What was the first (and last) flashlight that made you go "whoa . . ."
My first was a Brinkman 5D, you could take the middle tube section out and run it as a 3D or 2D. It looked exactly like a Maglite and I have no idea what happened to it. My favorite now is the g2x LE edition.
Thanks for the info guys, I'll definitely post some pics when it's done. I'm gonna have to order another mc'clicky for it but otherwise I'm good to go. Dan
Cool thanks for the ideas guys I appreciate it. I think I'm up to 25 or so 6p's now so I'm definitely going to give it a try and I'll let you guys know how it goes. Dan
Been a busy week. My 13 year old daughter was inducted into the national honor society this week. Proud papa here. I know it's not a prep but I'm hoping to prepare her with a great education and make good decisions.
I really like the surefire g2x pro LE edition. It comes on hi which is 400 lumens and the second press is a 20 lumens low. Batteries seem to last quite a long time. Well within your budget. Dan
Edit to add that mine runs good on sanyo 16650 for the rechargeable option.
