    Nitecore EA4 Ballooned/Melted switch Repair Write-Up

Yeh thats how I cracked open my EA4 to get that plastic washer first aligned and then secondly out of the lense... I just used a silicone sheet which is like a baking tray thing you can pick up at K Mart for $2 (Aus). I pushed down on the mat with the bezel pretty well and gave a quick turn and...

    Comprehensive Grease and Lube Thread

I bought and tried Chemlube Silicone grease which turned out to be the biggest waste of $20 "ever!". Silicone grease proved to be a very poor lubricant with the threads and it leaked - with the heat generated from the LED. I have turned to using Inox MX6 which is a clay bentone grease which...

Why Led Lenser's flashlight so bad?

I still cant get why the MT7 has only 11 hours of run time when the M7 has something like 60 hours? Wouldnt you want a Tactical light to last longer than a general civilian light? Thats my only qualm with my MT7 - mind you my EA4, I get anxious with that button switch... Summer's fast...

Wobble - the Eneloops are going great!!! Led Lenser Australia said that most of their torches are NiMh compatible and should not prove a problem at all. Anyhow I am going to be away for 8 months or so - just got over "The Net" and have two jobs working near 70 hours a week... Doing product...

    Flashlight 'Unknown' Code of Conduct.

Well since looking for a Unknown Code of Conduct here or any form of 'flashlight etiquette' that Flashaholics should abide by; or even stick to a standard principal of proper flashlight useage I thought that I should post this up so we could all contribute. Since being shon at by a jumpy...

Duracell rechargable nimh AA for Nitecore EA4? ok?

I froze my old Duracell NiMh's and so far so good - seems to have given them a little kick up the rear performance wise... Not sure if this is 'science' or BS but somethings changed with them?

Flashlight visible on a clear Night

Answer = How long is a piece of string... I guess it all depends on how good the receivers eyes can focus on the light being shone. I bet I could see a light being shon from the Southport Seaway looking from Kingscliff... With my Nikon Prostaff 7's of course ;) I guess thats why I go outside...
