What government agency special ordered the X5T-HA

Re: What government agency special ordered the X5 If we told you, we'd have to flash ya... Okay, that was corny... Seriously though, I don't know nor do I think we will find out. Something tells me that the ones who ordered these wouldn't be to happy to find their organization's name is...

    Pila 150A in a Hyper Lux V?

According to Craig at The LED Museum, a pair of 150S Pilas can fit in a HyperLux V. However, I don't know about 150A Pilas.

New Nichia LED`s a threat to the LS?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Personally, I welcome competition.

Is the streamlight 3c 10 led overdriven?

When the head of a flashlight (especially a plastic one) gets warm, then that is probably a clear sign that the LEDs are overdriven. When driven at spec, I don't think Nichia's get very warm. I have heard somewhere that the 3C is overdriven, but not as hard as the 4AA. But, I can't confirm this.

How long can I run computer with out fan?

My rule of thumb: if a fan in you computer is starting to make a grinding noise, then replace it. You can try to oil it. However, chances are that oil won't prolong your fan's life significantly once the fan starts sounding unusual. I had a similar problem as you have Sinjz. I noticed that a...

    Radio emissions from SF L4/L5

I knew that lights with regulater circuits created RF noise, but I didn't know it created that much noise! Interesting... How far away from the radio were the lights?

    Infinity ultra....eh

I don't have an issue with the Infinity Ultra except for some minor battery rattle. Wrapping the AA cell with a post-it note will solve that problem though (and isn't too much trouble considering that you probably won't need to change the cell that often). I never had my Ultra go off in my pocket.

Steamlight Propolymer 3C led Vs. Lightwave 3000

Re: Steamlight Propolymer 3C led Vs. Lightwave 300 I think both are good choices and you can't go wrong with either. I'm edging a little toward the Streamlight, but that's probabably because I have a Streamlight and not a Lightwave. I know that Streamlight is pretty good when it comes to...

CMG Sonic-G vs. CMG Ultra-G What do you think?

Re: CMG Sonic-G vs. CMG Ultra-G What do you think Basically, it's down to what you want: longer battery life or smaller size. If you want a AAA light, then an Arc AAA would be much better than the Sonic (enough to justify the additional cost). A AAA light makes a great keychain light. AA...

help me choose a house and camping light

The FT3C is a good choice. Since you want long runtime, a light using C or D cells is probably the best way to go.

    2xAA battery option for ARC4+?

Whether Arc develops a 2AA battery option for the Arc4 is up to them; I will support them whatever they decide. However, I am someone that find the 2AA battery option very useful, so I would like to see it as an option, whether the solution is from Arc or not. For me, the reason for having 2AA...

ARC AAA Premium vs. MaglLite AAA.

The Arc AA doesn't have a lens because it doesn't need one. The 5mm LED itself acts as it's own lens.
