    HDS Systems EDC # 16

I agree that the latest batch of these has much smoother and shallower knurling that the previous ones. But to be honest I think I like it better! If I get time tonight I will try to take some photos comparing them. I have one of the first CW and one of the first HCRI Rotaries that came out...

Question for HDS Rotary owners (particularly HCRI)

As you can see from the link that Imon posted I have one of the apparently few HCRI Rotaries out there. I also have a Jetbeam RRT-0 that has been modded with a HCRI LED. While the RRT-0 is a nice light, it does not even come close to the HDS in my opinion. The Rotary just screams quality, while...

When did you place your order for the Rotary High CRI? That might help us that are waiting to know if we are getting close to getting ours (if you were lucky enough for it to be your light)

    HDS Systems EDC # 16

Ordered a HCRI Rotary on Dec 31st as well. Henry sent a confirmation email on Jan 3rd stating the order was received and should ship in about 4 weeks. Luckily I was able to score one of the few HCRI Rotaries that was shipped out to a dealer. Now I just need to get my CW Rotary converted over to...

I looked at my lights and the opening on the new HDRI one does indeed look larger than the older CW one. It doesn't appear to be sitting any further down on mine though. I wonder if the opening being wider is all that was needed?

Everyone, you're welcome for the beamshots. Hope they were of some help for people. This was my first attempt of trying to get beamshots and I was kinda rushed. Yeah there is very little visual difference in brightness (at least to my eyes and a couple other people I showed it to). I actually...

    HDS Systems EDC # 16

*Edited post - mislabeled photos and put it on here wrong... now fixed* I received my HCRI Rotary today and did some quick beamshots to show the tint and brightness levels. I don't have a white wall, so I used a piece of white foam core. The lights are approx. 15" away from the board on each of...

I am not that familiar with the thread differences through the years with HDS as I bought my first one recently. But will this one work with your light or is it an even older version? https://www.lighthound.com/HDS-EDC-LED-Flashlight-17670-Battery-Tube-Bare-No-Spring-No-O-Rings_p_2817.html

Peak Eiger, now with Nichia 119-H1 High CRI

I received my AAA Eiger light today and let me say... WOW! This is a beautiful beam of light! This is my first high CRI light and so far I am really liking it! Now I just need to get a momentary switch for it! Couple quick questions though. I am not very familiar with Peak as this is my first...

Peak Eiger, now with Nichia 119-H1 High CRI

Just ordered an Al AAA version. This will be my first Peak light. The high CRI 4500K along with the QTC was just too much to resist. Looking forward to getting it!

500 Lumen - AAA Flashlight (photos) - Work In Progress

This light is definitely looking more and more interesting! I will be in for one for sure when it comes out, but if you can make it with a neutral tint I will be in for 2 at least!
