Suggestions for recovering capacity on eneloop AAA's?

I like many others just use a sharpie marker and write directly on the batteries themselves. It will rub off or can be very easily cleaned off with rubbing alcohol without any problems. Other than using the C9000 to run 2 or 3 break-in cycles on them, there is no way to recover the capacity...

Suggestions for recovering capacity on eneloop AAA's?

I too have noticed that the AAA's just don't seem to hold up as well as the AA's do. If you use your Maha C9000 and after running 2 or 3 break-in cycles on them and they still are below 70-80% capacity....definitely time to retire them. They will never get any better.

Japanese Vs Chinese Eneloop Cycle Testing Results

Many of the 'knockoff' Eneloops (aka Chinese Eneloops) sure seem to look and behave ALOT like..... Ray-O-Vacs. Ends look similar. Run times are similar. Amount of cycles that they actually last are similar. I still have 26 of the original Eneloops HR-3UTG (Made in Japan- says right on...

    Unknown Lithium Cell

Double checked the code on the GREEN cells... My tired old eyes are not what they used to be I guess (heheh even with glasses) You were correct again about the last digit. It is a Y not a 7. On the cells it is actually printed in the following order; SF US18650GR T G711JMK04Y I checked ALL...

    Unknown Lithium Cell

Good calls Chris! From what I can find....... The green cells (US18650GR G7) = Sony 2400mAh cells That is assuming it is the cell above omitting the 'T'. The numbers/letters after the G7 are the date code. Will run them through some capacity testing once I weed out any bad/poor cells. As...

    Unknown Lithium Cell

The full number on the Green wrapper is; SF US18650GRT G711JMK047 Nothing else on the wrapper. Not even stamped into the clear layer like an Eneloop. A little more searching does show them as possibly a Sony 2200mAh cell...... Keeppower had them listed on their website which is why I...

    Unknown Lithium Cell

Will double check the wrapper under a stronger/better light. I also got 6 cells out of a different Dell pack; Green Cells SF US18650GR I was able to track the green cells down easily.. apparently 2200 mAh Shenzhen Keeppower cells.

    Unknown Lithium Cell

I just salvaged some 18650 cells from a Dell Laptop Pack. Specifically, 6 cells from a Dell WU946 Pack. Rated 11.1 volts minimum 4.84Ah. Based on the above info, I am assuming these are 2200mAh cells. Going to go through them and weed out any bad cells. Slowly charge them up and do a...

    Best 9 Volt Rechargeable Batteries

Anyone have any insight as to how the 9v lithium cells perform overall. Less cells inside = less prone to early failure?? I have not used any and was thinking of giving them a try.

    XTAR - CES 2014 - VP2 charger

Got my new VP2 today. It has the security sticker with the 18 digit code under the scratch off. When I entered it in the web site the first time I must have missed a digit or had one wrong. It said 'Security Code Does Not Exist'. I then went ahead and entered it again....this time it came...
