    Its been a while, where the old timers at? You might be an oldtimer if..... A 15 lumen luxeon star was the brightest LED when you joined CPF and it took 3AAs to power it. Your first ''nice'' flashlight was a Photon Micro or Inova X5

    Anyone remember a flashlight that had horizontal moving head?

    I had a flashlight flashback and I remember owning a flashlight that was powered by 3Ds and had a hinged reflector and motor that swept the bulb side to side greater FOV at night vs a standard beam. Anyone know the name or have pics of this thing? It was a plastic light from a big box store.

    Surefire no longer requiring MAP pricing?

    So I thought I got a sweet deal on a Surefire, I did a search and found that I only save $20 bucks from major retailers. I remembered when all vendors had to charge the same price and I picked them with the freebies they included. When did they stop that? (Im glad they did!)
