Reviving an old thread. Now that USPS won't ship lithium batteries anymore internationally, what are the new sources for CR123A batteries in Canada? I also have a preference for US made CR123A.
Thanks!
It finally broke (started flickering)! :)
I just boiled the head, removed all the black goo, made 4 real crimping points, flattenned a bit the solder blob, a new foam donut and no more flicker! I hope it will hold up... :)
Hum! Just found out this 4 1/2 years old thread where I posted pictures of the actual no crimping and and a lot of black goo on this Arc AAA-P:

Hi,
My Arc AAA-P started to flicker recently. I contacted Arc and they now want me to send a check of $6.20 along with the flashlight to pay for return shipping, which will cost me a lot since I'll also have to pay for the CAD->USD conversion... When did they start to do this?
Is there...
I've send my high CRI clicky back to Henry last week for the same problem. A new battery lasted 3 weeks without even using the light. It didn't have the problem at first. About customs, I write "warranty return" and I've never had to pay any customs charge when the manufacturer also writes this...
Any e-mail address to contact Henry? The website seems down... My high CRI clicky now has this problem. The first two batteries were OK but the two last drained in less than 3 weeks without use.
I just purchased the USB charger kit bundled with 1500 cycles Eneloop.

Unsurprisingly to me, they have the same dents as the Apple made in Japan NiMH batteries on the positive terminal!
I replaced a dead NiCD pack with homemade NiMH pack twice in my cordless phone. The original NiCD pack lasted 1 year. I was always cycling them completely before charge and it was lasting 3 days at the beginning and 1 day on a charge at the end.
I checked tested the charging current to be 70...
I got it from this eBay seller:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Sanyo-eneloop-battery-stick-booster-x-iphone-ipod-NEW-/150443445472?pt=AU_Electronics_Batteries_Chargers
Free shipping and I got no customs bill when it arrives (your mileage may vary).
I received a Stick Mobile Booster last friday, ordered from Japan. Took 3 days to arrive by standard postal system! It will charge approximately 80% of my iPod Touch with one set of AA and another set will fill the remaining and charge completely my iPod Nano. It's a bit sad these are slow to...
I have purchased a pack of 4 Rayovac Hybrids in the past and I'm not really a fan of them. The first set of Eneloop I have, purchased in 2006, still haven't lost a bit of capacity and perform like new. On the other hand, the Hybrids purchased in 2007 have a higher internal resistance and tend to...
I don't mind the 2AA version. Smaller and I can use my entire supply of NiMH batteries if needed. Anyway, it's not meant to be the primary power source to recharge a device.
Received it today! 3 days between Japan and Canada... I've never seen the postal system going that fast before!
My first test was with a 1st gen iPod Touch with the included new version Eneloops. Batteries were depleted when the iPod was charged 3/4 full. Not bad as it's only a "booster".
The...
