Currently with a R2 drop-in and RCR123s, this is my TAC light (23 years now). I'm considering upgrading to the a R5 or XML drop-in. The lens is still in good shape; however, the anodizing is showing wear. I am considering refurbishing it as well or just selling it and upgrading to the new P2ZX Fury Combatlight.

Are there suppliers providing refinishing (hard anodizing) services?
Is there a supplier offering a glass lens for this model?
How difficult is it to remove the old polycarbonate lens?

Thanks in advance

The polycarbonate lens is easy to remove, but the only way to fit a glass one is to replace the whole bezel assembly - the polycarbonate lens is a snap fit, and the glass lenses need a screw in retaining ring.
it should be possible to buy the bezel.
i think oveready may provide bore+anodize services, and you should be able to get a new bezel from them too
