I would never have purchased either light without all of the information I found here and on Quickbeam's site. You all have cost me a LOT of money, but I'm not upset because the lights I buy from the recommendations here DO THE JOB. Over the years I've probably spent an equal amount on cheap crap that fell apart or failed to do the job so I'm really very glad to have "heirloom" lights that will probably get passed down to my kids along with my knives and so forth.
Of course the kids will probably just use their nano-enhanced darkvision to look around and wonder why dad was so enthralled with those silly "flashtorch thingies"
