I recently entered my flashlights into the local fair for competitive collecting exhibits.

Of course a flashlight fanatic can't get rid of all lights. I was stuck deciding which light/lights to keep as my one and only. I had narrowed it down to 2 lights. My second runner up was a FIVEMEGA creation nickle Plated 6p bored out to accept 18650 cells and a McClicky tail cap paired with micro USB rechargeable surefire 18650 and a Malkoff LED 1 mode drop in.

in the end my decision was based up pocketability, compactness, and a bit of attachment. The one and only light had to be a clone SureFire E1E by Lumen Factory paired with a EO-E1R, 90 lumen incandescent and a Fenix 16340 micro USB rechargeable battery.

I would choose the pineapple e1e for two reasons. Incan is better! Second. I find a 6p is too big for comfortable pocket carry so no good as an edc. That e series is very good for that though.
That being said those five mega done nickel plated six piece truly look amazing. Would be better with a LF HO4 though

The Acebeam ec65 with the Nichia LEDs. This is when it is also good to have duplicates, triplicates. I can exhibit a single light and keep using the other one, two or three of them.

I think that you made a wise choice.

My first thought was to keep the smallest light that you have, to have one as an EDC, yet, one that is larger than a key chain light.

My EDC is a CooYoo Quantum, a key chain light, and I often grab one of the many Convoy S2+ lights or similar lights when I need one around the house. So I wouldn't want to give them all up. Therefore I would keep a light that is larger than my keychain light, but smaller than the S2+. In other words one that is larger than my typical EDC, but still rather small. I'd probably keep my Eagletac D25A which takes a single AA cell or a 14500 Li-Ion

Jetbeam TCR1. I can feed it anything . AA , AAA , CR123, 18650, 18500, 18350.
Far from the most efficient or reliable light available. But it is the light which I am most comfortable and familiar with. But, I am also of the opinion , if you can not improvise a battery and simple charger , from junk , you are not ready for dark times. Skills and knowledge last, not gear.

Easy, Zebralight SC64w HI.
.06 to 1300 lumens.
Add a headband, and it'd cover the entirety of my actual flashlight needs.

3 weeks? Naturally, I'd prefer to keep all my other favorites that are more preferred or ideal for different ranges of use, but if I had to go 3yrs with just that light, it wouldn't hurt me any.

HDS High Noon. It's not the best at anything that I do but it will cover everything I need a light for. Come to think of it , it actually did for over a year.

Likely one of my FW3As since they get the most use anyway and are reasonably balanced in terms of capability, runtime, and compactness.
