I just wanted to show that it can be done, at least with this model.
I wish it were green.
This laser grip has been cut to clear the frame mounted safety, and the safety has been shortened, dehorned and cold blued with a marker.
I didn't take pictures of the back side, but the cuts just clear the recesses where the diode and power leads are cast in what I believe is UV cure resin.
