Sounds to me like a dying fuel pump, the one on my Saab makes a racket too, continuial "eeeeeee" noise, with the ocasional "eezzznnnnggggnnneee" thrown in for fun as well. Have a new pump in the shed, but right now, reattatching the front wheel to the suspension is more important than the pump!
