Matt I'm sure they have the "fun-tak" at Wal-Mart, I'm going to try some good quality masking tape and see if that will do it first, it's paid for already (Thanks Tain!).
Greenlight, I've never tried the glow powder, does it make it through the night?

emu124, yes if you ordered your Vanisle with Carclo optics originally (instead of the Khatod), pretty much any of the Carclo quads will fit. I have a Vanisle as well and I'm looking forward to trying out the 10621, I think it came with a 622. Probably end of next week for those.

I'd often wondered about this idea myself, but have nowhere near the skill or the equipment to pull it off

I'm still waiting to hear back when the supplier can ship the Quad Carclos, Do the optics in your 3300L look the same as my second picture in this thread? Does the flashlight lens rest directly on the quad optics. The lens holds the trits in place and if there is an air gap between, the trits might need to be glued in place. There's only one other brand of Quad I know of made by Khatod, it's a lot taller but still looks like it could be drilled...

these tritted carlcos will fit the new Malkoff Wildcat (3x XP-G2) right? looks like the same stuff as far as i'm able to tell

Jeremie, if it looks like this one;

It's a Carclo, probably 10621 or 22 so should work.

Tobrien, I searched around a little but at least the earlier Wildcats appear to be a much larger diameter head(?). Do you have a pic of the newest one?

Kerberos uses Carclo 10621 spot by default, and Carclo 10622 flood by request.

Great:thumbsup:, I will update here when I get some 10621's finished. I finally gave up trying to find 'em in North America and ordered some from Australia, they were shipped Thursday. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have them. Not clear why these are so scarce:thinking:

Edit: I see now the local supplier has them listed too, should have waited another day (about the same price though)...
