cree mr11 kit help please!!

ok i had a mr11 triple kit until earlier when i fubarred the optic and the led board(dont ask??)

so now i need to order a new board and optic.

ive noticed on the cutter site there are new r2 leds

is there much of an improvement over a q5 bin which i had before.

also what degree optic do i need for my one and only light used for commuting and off roading.

cutter offer either a narrow or a medium.

which would be best??

also im not sure about the led board

i guess i just chose what led i want on the mr11 board and then add to basket??

would the leds already be on the board??

R2 are brighter but not significantly so, but there is a wait on most retailers orders.
The guys at Cutter post here and I'm sure would be happy to let you know if they still had the R2's in stock.
