Re: Custom Delrin Button Covers for Sunwayman V10R Ti +
Like mine very much--works well.
Would it be appropriate to add a drop of 5w Nano-oil?
Also, I'm thinking a tactile slight hollow on the surface
would provide instant placement assistance as would a slightly raised spot
like the one on a '5' key.
Thanks for the Goodie!

Thank you - glad it is also working for you. Nano-oil would not affect the Delrin - it is slippery enough as is, and any oil will attract dust/debris, etc., so I am not sure I would use it. Then again, give it a try - it might work well.
Your idea is interesting. Making an indentation is not recommended as the Delrin is not very thick, but if the switch were slightly higher overall (thicker on top), then adding a slight indentation might work, but it would prevent the button from sitting flush with the tailcap.
Making a raised spot is perfectly doable - the only problem is that with a raised surface the button cover would no longer be flush with the tailcap, and it would make it slightly easier for momentary activation to occur by accident. Not a "huge" deal, but worth keeping in mind.
Everything is a compromise
