I need a new O-ring for my Draco. The old one broke/wore out.
Is it a common type I can find in a hardware store or do I need to
order them here?

That's a good question. They are wimpy little things. I too would like to find them somewhere cheap and abundant.

Just wanted to let everyone know I got my chrome Draco today, and it was everything I was expecting...and I was expecting a lot :grin2: This light is amazing! I never thought this day would come, but I think my PD might be seeing a little shelf time

Just FYI, with my metering equipment, I measured ~150 lumens out the front on burst! That is crazy brightness for something this small...simply amazing! Wonderful job Jonathan!

Jonathan - I love the light!! The Nano or the batteries may have a problem. The charger "charges" one of the batteries for 30-40 minutes minimum even when it has been used only for a few minutes. The other battery immediately reads green on charge even when it has been used quite a bit. Can I buy just a charger and perhaps some more batteries?

Thanks for the great product.

Steve

Steve- My nano charger seems to be doing the same thing; I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet though, but is the LED supposed to change colors to indicate charge or is it just green to indicate that it is receiving power?

Looks like I also need a 10440 battery. Ultrafire 10440's are a little short.

The O-ring is more than just a waterproofing issue, I usually have the Draco
hanging from a lanyard. W/O the O-ring, the head would work its way off :candle:

1 10440 battery.
2 O-rings (so I can have a spare).

Local pickup and pay if that's convenient.

Mine always starts out as red when I first put the battery in, then it turns green when it's done. I haven't charged lately, so I don't know about the timing on mine though.

The Draco with the AAA option that I've seen was as you describe. It had a short (16mm?) body extension tube to allow it to use a 10440 (AAA) size cell.

Everything ordered as of today is shipped! Wished I could have shipped earlier but I had 41 pages of tax to take care of.

slampost: Nano charger cutoff voltage and trickle V varies from units to units. I found that pretty much all these charger will charge to 95% within 2 hr. However for the last couple % some may take minutes while others have been up to 24 hrs.

I didn't bug AW too much about this issue because I deem it tolerable.

FlashInThePan & loveit: We don't really need the hype, cause the truth will reveal all in due time.

AndyTiedye: Orings are custom made at an arm & leg cost. See you @ the next get together.

Strauss: Recharge and remeasure that thing, you're missing 10 lumens there.

eltel999: AlTiN & TiN does not have tritium slot. Only TiCN & Chrome does.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm surprised you could see to type after 41 pages of tax

Could you just confirm which of the coatings you shipped?

Kind regards,

Terry
