Hey guys

Is there any way to disable the brightness sensor? I'm attempting to look thru machine windows for setups and the light keeps turning down the brightness. Anyone who has ever had to look through the window of a machine running cast iron knows he needs the PUNCH!!

thanks Guys

Disassembly of the EDC27 is pretty easy. Remove 8 screws from one side of the light and it should allow you to pull the front lens off. It not, the second side needs to be removed too. There is a small plastic post that sits in a hole on the MCPCB. This helps channel light to the optical sensor. I haven't tested it, but removal of that post might disable the sensor, or at least make it less sensitive. Removing the post and placing some electrical tape over the sensor might also work to completely disable it.
