Is foxfury chinese?
Interesting. From the pictures it looks like there is a fine wire mesh covering the lens, although I couldn't find any reference to this in the product's specs or manual.Coming from a long line of ham operators, a faraday box is normal. In some aspects looked at much like a fire extinguisher , in that it's monitored, maintained, occasionally upgraded, and hopefully never used
FoxFury has a light that is being marketed to address the EMP concern.
Would like to open one up, but at the current price, that's unlikely. Appears to be a simple direct drive type of light engine, but can't be sure.TacSwan EMPEROR Flashlight
The Emperor EMPR (EMP RESISTANT FLASHLIGHT) is the world's first (and only) EMP resistant flashlight. Unlike other electronics, this hardened flashlight is able to survive an electromagnetic pulse. Can be powered by a single CR123 or 18650 battery.www.foxfury.com
Would that be similiar to how a door on a microwave oven works?Interesting. From the pictures it looks like there is a fine wire mesh covering the lens, although I couldn't find any reference to this in the product's specs or manual.
Exactly. The wavelength of the signal is too large to make it through the small holes of the screen.Would that be similiar to how a door on a microwave oven works?
