Many Fenix torches here (see sig)
Its rare to hear of a switch failure on a surefire for example.

We should have an ongoing "light failure thread" where we posted what broke and what brand.

Surefire E2E- 6 months edc, switch became momentary only.

I dropped my TK11 at work today and it is acting up.

When I put it down it flashes on for a split second. I turn it off and on all day to look at stuff while working and sometimes the light would stay on even though I clicked it off. I took the switch apart when I got home and found there is a plastic pole that is in the middle of the circuit board. This pole keeps the switch's parts centered. The pole had broken off so I am assume the parts are shifting around in there.

It is still under warranty, but I will probably just buy one as I use it at work everyday.

Does anyone know if there is better switch I can use?

I was looking to buy a switch for my TK20 but can't find any T-switches around as the one place I knew didn't have them anymore. There is no issue but heard the light is no longer made so if true just want a backup.

The switch on the TK40 is electronic and will most likely require being de-soldered to replace. You may have to send the entire flashlight in for repair or replacement.
