Fun aspheric

I'm looking to add an aspheric thrower to my collection.
A few hundred dollars-ish max.
Medium to medium large size is fine, though of course smaller is good.
My fantasy light would be a deft x, but I can't bring myself to spend that much.
I'm thinking about a Z1vn, either SBT-70 or XML2 U3. Just wanted to check if there's anything in between those two that might make me say wow, or if anyone would recommend for or against either of those Z1vn options.

If your able to complete a build project search here for Black Bullet and that lead you to a couple other project lights as well. Some pretty good stuff too! I've never been a focusable lens fan. I like all of mine to behave like a laser. Nice and tight. But that's just my preference. You can build a pretty close DeftX copy for right around 3 to 400 hundred. Wont be a Deft, but it illuminate things way farther than you normally would think it could.

Okay, It sounds like I'm not missing anything super obvious, at least.
I'll likely pick up an SB70 Z1vn. But, ya, eventually I'd also like to have a "laser" aspheric.
I've never really built much of anything, but I'll read the black bullet stuff carefully. There's a first time for everything, right?
