I hear you, and usually agree. But I use my lights far too often. It's not the money that's the issue, either. Not as easy finding spare bulbs as they used to be back when incas were King of the Hill for output.

I like using the Magcharger with 2 X 32700 Lifepo4 (6500mah). It works very well for the stock bulb, or higher wattage 6V Halogen bulbs. And it should be safer than Li-ion.

Got two 32700 Lifepo4 cells in from Aliexpress.

They are too short and need a fairly deep button top to make the positive contact on the recessed magc terminal. I'm guessing use a stretched spring and solder a blob to make the + contact. Can you give me your method of what you did to make them work...

I made a spacer by myself. Just use some brass screws / nuts and plastic washers (mine is PA6 / Nylon)... I can even store some spare bulbs in that spacer.

Thank You! That makes sense...

JE8.4V30W -- this one is perfect for 3 x Lifepo4 batteries
JE10.8V30W -- this one is perfect for 3 x Li-ion batteries

5761 6V30W G4 -- this one is perfect for 2 x Lifepo4 batteries
7388 6V 20W G4 -- this one is perfect for 2 x Li-ion batteries
64250 6V 20W G4 -- with 2 x Li-ions, it is easy to :poof:, I use this for 2 x Lifepo4 batteries

To upgrade the MagCharger, I think a 13W bulb is not enough... I use 5761 6V30W with 2 x 32700 6000mah) Lifepo4 with a spacer.

Did you have to drill out the metal reflector hole to make the Philips 5761 Bulb fit?

I have a Mica shield from 20 years ago but never used it... That's the WA1160 installed...

No, I use the stock bulb in my Magcharger so I do not need to drill and expand the hole. I used those more powerful bulbs in my other mod lights. I do not know if the socket of Magcharger can resist the heat of 5761? Probably not? By the way Fivemega has a ceramic socket for it.
