How did you manage to put an LED in the tailcap? I have a few thousand indicator LEDs that might be useful

Picked up my flashlight yesterday at the post office from the previous run order.I used it last night and boy is this thing bright.:rock:
It now replaces my nitecore extreme as my favorite Edc flashlight. I also like the UI levels, it was easy to learn and operate for me, and has so much light level options to choose from. So what if it only goes for a 20 minute run time on high, I don't mind carrying a little more 123's for the total amount of lumens this flashlight puts out for its size. :goodjob: Robert. If you are pondering on getting one of these flashlights, don't hesitate! You'll be happy! I know I am.

Hey scout24, just PM (private message) him and ask for the mini edc with your chioce of either a p7 or MC-E led. These are pre-orders so you can order one until around mid-January. Sabrewolf is a nice guy and probably will tell you everything you need to know.

So to get option with the 2.8A to the LED (from the previous group buy) that is the 2 mode direct drive right? If I go this route, is there any way to add over-discharge protection to the light? I would like to run the new IMR batteries but since they aren't protected, the light would have to handle shutting down...don't know if it's possible though.

Yes, a 2-Mode is direct drive.. No Drivers to get in the way..
You need protected batts or Safe Chemistry batts to run the light.
Sorry, Cant really do a low voltage cutoff :mecry:

Robert, will the glow cap work on this 2 mode DD option? You did mention in the first run it would not work on the stock tailcap for the DD option.:thinking:
