Just a question on the 2 mode. How long can you run the light at 2.8a without overheating the tiny light? Also, what is the highest lumen number you could produce for low that could last 4-5 hours? I might want to get another one from you if the 2 mode numbers make sense.

BTW, I LOVE the TF 801 with the P7. It made the L2d Q5 turbo beam looks very dark. Thank you.

I ordered a couple of P7's, but the MC-E i had went
on a journey somewhere else.. But that was a warmwhite.
And you wanted a coolwhite..Since i am getting 2x P7's would you
just like to do both lights the same? The Fenix L2D CE, and the
Novatac 120P ?? I can still order an MC-E if you want one

I dont know at the moment for a 4-5hr batt time.. I only have
a tiny space in the tailcap to use 1/8th watt resistors..
That only allows about 20 lumens or so for the low mode
when using the 2-mode clicky.

You only get about 5 min with a regular protected RCR123
before it gets hotter than a firecracker.. Just throw it in
a glass of water if you want longer runtimes. And dont
worry, they are water proof Thats another reason why
i sell the 2-mode clicky, Low, and High.

I dont know about the IMR Batts though... I dont have any
of those batts to play with.. Wanna send me some?

I will mail in my lights next week. I trust your opinion. If you think the Fenix L2D CE will work better with the MC-E, I will wait for it. But, if you could get me back the 120P asap, that will be great. Because that is my EDC. In its absence, I just have to make do with your 400 lumen TF 801...hehehe.

Robert, I would love to upgrade all my lights to P7 or MC-E...but I can't do them all at once. Otherwise, my wife will find out and I will be dead. But, don't worry, they will be forthcoming.

For the 2 modes, how long will the 20 lumens last? Let me know.

It may be possible to machine something.. but the cost would
be higher than purchasing another light.. But you should see
what a direct-drive 18650 P7 looks like ! Woah Dude! <Keanu

Please tell me what is a "safe chemistry high output 3.7V battery?

I was planning on using AW's RCR 123's. Do you consider them to be "safe chemistry" ?
