Okay,
I placed and order for an EOS from Lighthound. I think the muled EOS will fit the bill, and be a fun, easy project.
I'll use an alum gutter nail/spike to make the tower that will bolt to the star, and raise the emitter to the lens.
If the Lux is a V1 tint like the other EOS' I've pulled apart, I'll reuse it. If it's not bright enough I'll swap it out for a USWOH Seoul.
