My 3d and 4d is completely bone stock.....looking to mod them....how would i switch between the power modes with my existing on button?? Also, will i need to mod anything else in order for me to fully use this drop in? ReChargeable nimh included??

Any drop ins left for a maglite 3D or 4D? These drops have to go into the older style maglite that only have a D in the number, right? So I can't put them in the newer LED maglites?

If it works well on Alkaline Ds I might buy a couple more. Mainly to upgrade family members lights as I don't own many mags.

No. Maglite got the poops and put the hard word on Mac, so he's withdrawn them for now. He might bring them back with a different name. They're top drop-ins. I've had mine for a while now (number 6 off the first run) and it still impresses me.

Would love it if he did a triple XP-G using the same style of heat sink.
