Wanted to confirm What I read. If I purchase the 18650 and 26650 one short and one deep I could swap the head's between the two?
Also would there be any issue with a sleeved 18650 in the 26650 lamp?
The 4000 26650 I see at lighthound is unprotected is this okay?
Any prices on tubes and heads only?
"Limited high with cr123a" limited how?

Yes all body's and heads are interchangeable. I will update the website shortly with Body and head only options. As for the 26650 it uses the safer Lithium Chemistry and the driver boards cuts off at 2.5v to protect the cell. The Driver pulls 2.8a and I personally do not like driving a CR123 that high especially with 2 cells. If you install one dead and one new cell there a chance of a meltdown.

There is practically ZERO heatsinking with the P60 Drop-Ins. If there was enough interest I could make a run of P60 compatible hosts. Post 13 picture is a P60 Host.

I realize heatsinking is a problem with P60's, but I consider that to be a reasonable tradeoff to have an open standard for upgrades. I can improve the heatsinking as necessary by using bits of aluminum foil and heatsink paste.

Can the driver handle 4.5 volt's?
I would like a 3xC battery body or extenson tube for the 26650.

I have a question that has been bugging me. This new light has a 2.8A driver, uses an 18650 cell, uses an XM-L emitter and puts out 769 lumens. While on the other hand, the standard model XML EDC uses the same emitter, same battery, and same driver current and only puts out 575 lumens. What am i missing?
