Is it safe to charge older Pila 168s LiOns in chargers like the XTAR WPII?

My inventory of Pila 168s, 168a, and 150a batteries is long in the tooth as is my original Pila BC1 charger. The later is acting somewhat flaky these days Just ordered new 17760, 18650, and 18500 LiOns along with a XTAR WPII. Can the new charger safely be used with the older Pila batteries?

I ask because of the comments about the use of the new Pila charger with the older Pila batteries.... not recommended.

There shouldn't be any problems using that charger with your cells.
